Who We Are

With an estimated population of 193,227 in 2021, Coastal NC is filled with outdoor adventures, rural communities, bustling historic town centers, and great business success stories. With that comes the often unpredictable weather patterns that can and have caused great devastation to all of our communities over the years.

Living within communities with unique sets of challenges and needs, we are continually evolving to better respond and assist our neighbors who survived Hurricane Florence to reach a status of recovery.

The long-term recovery agencies of Coastal Carolina, want to engage more people, raise awareness of the ongoing struggles our neighbors face, and activate our cross-sector network of partners. Join us in creating long-term, sustainable change together.

We want people to be hurricane survivors, not victims. Recovery, rebuilding, and resiliency are possible with the assistance of community partners and volunteers.
