Who We Are

We are trustworthy, compassionate partners providing exceptional disability, behavioral health and addiction treatment services to help our neighbors live their best lives. Purpose, dedication and empathy drive our in-person and telehealth service delivery. Our diverse and inclusive 2,600 member team provides more than 10.2 million hours of meaningful support to 40,200 kids, adults and families in 11,000 home, facility and community locations across North Carolina and Virginia.

We do an annual GLO RUN!!

This Run/Walk 5k (timed event) is open to participants of All Ages and Running Abilities.   Your participation directly benefits children, adults and families living with disabilities, mental health and substance use challenges receiving life changing services from Easterseals UCP | Port Health in our local community.  For those physically challenged who want to “stroll through the 5k”, Easterseals UCP is a proud partner of Ainsley's Angels. Message us, or visit Ainsley’s Angels to find out how to be a Chair Rider. https://ainsleysangels.org

Our family-friendly, pet-friendly event also features a 1-Mile Kid’s Fun Run, food trucks, music, photo booths, basket raffles, Kid’s Zone and post-race Awards Dance Party to finish off a GLOWTASTIC Night.

Can't make the race, run with us VIRTUALLY and we'll ship your T-shirt & Finisher Medal to you post-race.  Please submit your "virtual run" anytime between Saturday, March 30th- April 6th via the RaceJoy app.  Prize awarded to the largest VIRTUAL TEAM.

What We Do

Easterseals UCP exists to deliver services that help individuals living with disabilities and mental health challenges (and the people who love them) be better able to live, learn, work and play in their community. We don’t change the world for everyone. But we do help change the world for some – one at a time. One person, one family, one employee, one team, one community at a time. And that’s a big deal.
