Our Focus  

Deeply rooted in New Bern, our movement is made up of people of all ages and from every walk of life, all working side-by-side to ensure that everyone, regardless of gender, income or background, has the opportunity to live life to its fullest.

We value caring, honesty, respect and responsibility, and everything we do stems from this.We put Christian principles into practice through programs that build a healthy spirit, mind and body for all.

For Youth Development

Building character, leadership, and morals of children and teens in Craven County is the one of our focuses. Through positive role models and opportunities to explore their interests, we help children develop their own unique skills, encourage teamwork, and provide a safe haven.

For Healthy Living

Being healthy is about maintaining a balanced spirit, mind and body. Here at the YMCA, you’ll find a place where you can work toward that balance by challenging yourself to learn a new skill or hobby, fostering connections with friends through our lifelong learning programs, or bringing your loved ones closer together through our many family-centered activities.

For Social Responsibility
