Volunteer: Volunteers NeededCraven Literacy Council truly depends on volunteers. Our small staff leverages the talent and time of over a hundred community members each year to meet the needs of adult learners, conduct special events, and complete all administrative duties. Volunteer instructors and training team members are the front line to fighting adult illiteracy. The Council’s Board of Directors are all volunteers; they provide oversight and resource development for the organization as a whole. Volunteers work with staff to raise awareness, coordinate fundraisers and other events, and keep our building and grounds intact. Volunteers are also needed to help with events such as the Daddy Daughter Sweetheart Ball in February. Agency: Craven Literacy Council Craven Literacy Council truly depends on volunteers.
